John Banghoff is the Co-founder and Director of Sales and Marketing for WeatherFront, a one-stop shop mobile app for weather data on a mobile device.
His professional interests include fire weather forecasting, snow squall education, and all things radar meteorology. John earned his Master’s in Meteorology and Atmospheric Science from Penn State, where his research focused on clear air radar signatures, including horizontal convective rolls and convective boundary layer depth. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Atmospheric Sciences from The Ohio State University, where he was a five year member of the Marching Band.
Over the course of his career, John has accumulated experience across diverse sectors including TV, private consulting, emergency management, academia, and operational forecasting.
In his spare time, John enjoys mowing grass, cheering on the Buckeyes, eating ice cream, and spending time with friends and family.
