Max has had a lifelong passion for severe weather. Growing up in Colorado allowed for a wide variety of weather to be experienced, from blizzards to hail storms and occasionally tornadoes, it was a perfect environment to drive the ever-growing passion.
By the time Max had a drivers license, he already had a good understanding of forecasting and chasing and was able to start seeing tornadoes on his own. In 2019, he moved to Norman, OK to live in the heart of tornado alley. Over the past 18 years, Max has seen close to 400 tornadoes and 17 hurricanes.
He's been featured in multiple documentaries including TWC's "Storm Stories", Discovery Channel's, "In the Eye of the Storm", and CNN's "Violent Earth" and his footage has been used by numerous other shows and major news networks. He also loves creating his own short documentary style videos on his personal YouTube Channel.
